It is important that you advise your Crown Relocations moving consultant of any high value items you plan to move overseas such as works of art or antiques, so we can take precautions during packing and preparation including possibly building custom crates or a specialist packing solution.

Yes, you can pack your own boxes. Some clients elect to pack non-breakable items such as clothing, linen and books and leave the more fragile items to us. If you choose to do this, we will supply you with appropriate export quality boxes and packing materials

We can also provide you with instructions and tips for packing your boxes to export standards, however we can not be responsible for any breakages in boxes that you pack yourself.

Cartons and belongings which are to be transported internationally by air must be checked, repacked and sealed by Crown Relocations security cleared staff members.

Yes, we provide our customers with regular email updates and a client login to our website shipment tracking portal which allows you to monitor the progress of your sea or air shipment.

Yes, we service almost every international destination with door to door air freight services. We can also provide air courier services for small personal effects shipments. We also service New Zealand, United Kingdom, Singapore, USA, Canada, Europe and the UAE for door to door consolidated sea freight services.

Whilst it is unusual for items to be damaged or lost in transit, there are inherent risks associated with long distance transportation by sea or air and for your peace of mind we strongly recommend that you take out transit protection. To help you get the right cover, we have put together a cost-effective policy specifically designed to protect your belongings during transit and/or storage. All Crown Relocations quotation proposals include transit protection options.
