Last week, on Valentine’s Day, Crown Australia illuminated the spirit of love and compassion as they celebrated Sweetheart Day, also known as Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day. The team adorned themselves with heart symbols, symbolising their unwavering support for this cause. This touching gesture not only raised awareness but also played a pivotal role in fundraising for HeartKids, contributing to research efforts focused on juvenile heart disease and extending much-needed assistance to affected families.
HeartKids is the only national not-for-profit organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for all people impacted by Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), one of the largest causes of infant death in Australia.
As we reflect on the heartfelt gestures witnessed on Sweetheart Day, let us join hands in acknowledging the profound impact of such initiatives and continue our efforts towards advocating for those affected by Congenital Heart Disease.
